Who we are

Be Ambitchous publishes beambitchous.com. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Be Ambitchous. This page explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you join the Sunday Decree or a waitlist. We collect your email address and, if you give it, your first name. This information is stored with Flodesk, the email platform we use to send our letters and waitlist notices.

When you use the contact form. We collect your name, your email address, the topic you choose and your message. Your message is stored on the server that hosts our website and is also emailed to us so we can read it and reply.

When you load our pages. Our fonts load from Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser sends a request to Google, which includes your IP address and basic information about your browser, as any request to a website does. Google handles that information under its own privacy policy.

Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which record IP addresses, the pages requested and basic browser information. They are used to keep the site running and secure.

What we don’t do

We don’t run ads. We don’t use tracking pixels or analytics tools. We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone except the services named on this page that help us run the site and send our emails.

Cookies

The site sets one cookie, and only when the site owner is previewing unpublished pages. We don’t set advertising or analytics cookies for visitors. If that ever changes, we’ll update this policy first.

How we use your information

• To send you the Sunday Decree, if you signed up for it.
• To tell you when a product you joined the waitlist for is ready.
• To read and reply to messages you send through the contact form.

We don’t use your information for anything else.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address and first name until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We keep contact form messages only as long as we need them to reply and keep track of the conversation.

Your choices

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. One click removes you from that list. To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, write to us through the contact page and choose “Privacy or data request” as the topic. We’ll respond as soon as we reasonably can.

Children

This site is not meant for anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe someone under 16 has given us their details, contact us and we’ll delete them.

Keeping your information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No website or email service is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise that nothing will ever go wrong.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
